Installation Instructions

1. For the flawless installation of underground polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is imperative to exclusively employ electric fusion welding and hot melt docking techniques. These methods promise unparalleled performance and enduring durability. Avoid the use of screw connections or adhesive bonding at all costs, as they can severely compromise the pipeline's structural integrity and performance. Ensure each pipeline connection is executed with precision using specialized tools. To safeguard against damage and ensure utmost safety, refrain from using open flames for heating during the connection process.

2. To guarantee compatibility and reliability, polyethylene pipes must be meticulously connected using PE pipes and fittings that share the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Before commencing any connections, conduct thorough testing to ensure that the quality meets all required standards. This is crucial for establishing a secure and long-lasting pipeline system.

3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is essential to maintain pristine pipe ends to facilitate a seamless and efficient connection. At the conclusion of each work session, temporarily seal the pipe openings to prevent any contamination. Immediately after completing the connection, inspect the interface to ensure it is secure and free from defects.

4. Both before and after performing hot melt butt welding, it is of utmost importance to meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. This step ensures optimal heat transfer and connection quality. Adhere strictly to the heating time and temperature guidelines specified by the manufacturers of both the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings to achieve the best possible results.

5. When executing hot melt butt welding, it is vital to follow the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations as stipulated by both the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical periods, do not move or apply pressure to the connecting parts to ensure a robust and stable connection.

6. After completing the connection, it is crucial to conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour to confirm the integrity and reliability of the pipeline. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints before the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, purge all air, and check for water tightness to verify a successful connection.

7. Pipeline engineering construction can only be considered operational after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection. This process ensures that all standards and specifications have been met, resulting in a safe and effective water supply system.
