Installation Instructions
 

The connection modes of HDPE double-wall bellows and b and c tubes include mechanical connections and a series of thermal fusion procedures. The primary methods include butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection.

1. The pipeline should rest on an earth arc foundation. For general soil quality, lay a 100mm thick layer of medium coarse sand on the undisturbed soil foundation or the foundation with backfill compaction below the pipe bottom. In cases of poor soil quality, use a sand-gravel base layer at least 200mm thick, which can be laid in two layers: the lower layer with gravel (particle size 5~32mm, thickness 100~150mm) and the upper layer with coarse sand (thickness not less than 50mm). The base density should comply with the provisions of Table 2. For soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity is below design requirements or affected due to construction precipitation, the foundation must first be strengthened. After achieving the specified bearing capacity, lay the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. The axillary corner within the supporting angle range of the designed earth arc foundation must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling range should be no less than the supporting angle 2α plus 30, and the compactness must comply with technical regulations.

3. The grooves for the socket interface and sleeve connection on the pipeline foundation should be dug during the pipeline laying process. Determine the groove's length, width, and depth based on the pipe joint size. After completing the joint, backfill with medium coarse sand immediately to ensure density.

4. In sections where longitudinal uneven settlement of the pipeline may occur due to factors such as pipeline load and ground soil changes, the foundation should be reinforced before laying the pipeline.
For the foundation treatment of polyethylene drainage pipes, adopt composite methods such as sand piles and stone piles. Rigid foundation treatments like driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations should not be used.
