Installation Instructions

 

1. Prior to installation, each pipe must undergo a meticulous inspection in accordance with product standards. Any pipe failing to meet these stringent standards is not to be installed under any condition.

2. When transporting the pipe, it should be handled with utmost care, lifting and placing it gently. Dragging, rolling, or the use of forklifts, tractors, or similar machinery within the trench is strictly forbidden.

3. Ensure the trench remains free of water during the laying process, ideally progressing trench excavation in tandem with pipe laying. Groove dimensions should align with pipe interface lengths: depth between 50-100mm and width exceeding the pipe's outer diameter. Immediately post-interface completion, backfill grooves using medium coarse sand.

4. If pipe length adjustment is necessary, employ mechanical cutting methods to ensure a smooth, perpendicular cut. Avoid using open flames for this purpose.

 

5. For diameter adjustments or branch pipe connections, always use appropriately matched fittings. Refrain from creating unauthorized openings on pipes or fittings for connections.

6. Pipes must be laid adhering to the design slope requirements, ensuring elevation errors remain within the limits prescribed by the national standard 'Code for the Construction and Application of Water supply and Drainage Pipe Engineering' (GB 50268) for prestressed concrete pipes.

7. In low temperature conditions or near the minimum temperature threshold, prefer fusion or flange connections. Clean all parts thoroughly-including sockets, sleeves, and seals-ensuring they are free of soil, water, and impurities. For metal accessories used in flange connections, implement anti-corrosion measures in accordance with site soil quality and relevant standards.
