Installation Instructions

 

The HDPE double-wall bellows and b and c tube connections feature versatile methods such as mechanical connection and advanced thermal fusion techniques. Key modes include butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection, ensuring a robust and reliable setup.

1. Begin with an earth arc base for the pipeline. For standard soil, place a 100mm thick layer of medium coarse sand over the undisturbed soil foundation or compacted backfill. For poor soil quality, opt for a sand-gravel base layer at least 200mm thick-comprising a 100-150mm lower layer of 5~32mm gravel and a 50mm thick upper layer of coarse sand. Ensure the base density meets Table 2 specifications. In soft soil conditions, if the foundation's bearing capacity is below design requirements or compromised by construction activities, reinforce the foundation before laying the medium coarse sand layer to meet specified bearing standards.

2. The axillary corners within the pipeline's designed earth arc foundation supporting angle must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfill range should exceed the supporting angle 2α plus 30, adhering to the compactness specified in the technical regulations.
 

 

3. The grooves for the socket interface and sleeve connection in the pipeline foundation should be excavated concurrently with pipeline laying. The groove dimensions should be tailored to the pipe joint size. Upon completion of the joint, immediately backfill with medium coarse sand to ensure proper density.

4. In sections where longitudinal uneven settlement may occur due to pipeline load or soil changes, reinforce the foundation adequately before laying the pipeline to ensure stability.
For polyethylene drainage pipe foundations, adopt composite treatment methods such as sand piles or stone piles. Avoid rigid foundation treatments like driven piles, concrete pads, or concrete strip foundations to maintain the integrity of the pipeline.
