Installation Instructions
 

The connection methods for our HDPE double-wall bellows and b and c tubes are diverse and robust, designed to ensure a secure and durable fit. These connection modes include mechanical connections and an array of thermal fusion techniques. The primary methods are butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection.

1. When installing the pipeline, ensure it rests on a well-prepared earth arc foundation. For typical soil conditions, lay a 100mm thick base layer of medium coarse sand on an undisturbed soil base or a foundation compacted with backfill below the pipe. In cases of poor soil quality, use a sand and gravel base layer of at least 200mm thickness. This can be arranged in two layers - a lower layer of gravel (5~32mm particle size) with a 100~150mm thickness, and an upper layer of coarse sand with a thickness of not less than 50mm. The base density should comply with the standards outlined in Table 2. For soft soil foundations where the bearing capacity is insufficient or compromised due to construction activities, the foundation must first be reinforced. Only after achieving the specified bearing capacity should the medium coarse sand foundation layer be laid.

2. The axillary corner within the support angle range of the designed earth arc foundation must be meticulously backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. Ensure that the backfilling extends beyond the support angle 2α plus 30 degrees, and that the compactness of the backfill adheres to the technical regulations.

3. While laying the pipeline, it is crucial to simultaneously dig the grooves for the socket interface and sleeve connection. The dimensions of these grooves (length, width, and depth) should match the pipe joint size. Once the joint is secure, backfill the area with medium coarse sand immediately to ensure proper density and stability.

4. In sections where uneven longitudinal settlement of the pipeline might occur due to factors such as load variations or changes in ground soil, it is essential to reinforce the foundation before proceeding with the pipeline installation to prevent future issues.
For the foundational treatment of polyethylene drainage pipes, employ composite methods such as sand pile and stone pile techniques. Avoid using rigid foundation treatments like driven piles, concrete pads, or concrete strip foundations, as these may not provide the flexibility and support required for optimal pipeline performance.
