Installation Instructions

 

The connection modes for the HDPE double-wall bellows and b and c tubes encompass a variety of advanced mechanical and thermal fusion techniques. These include butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connections, and compression connections. Each method ensures a secure and robust linkage, tailored to meet diverse installation requirements.

1. The pipeline installation should be based on an earth arc. For typical soil conditions, lay a 100mm thick layer of medium coarse sand on the undisturbed soil foundation or on a well-compacted backfill below the pipe's base. In cases of poor soil quality, use a sand gravel base layer of at least 200mm thickness, which can be laid in two layers: a lower layer of 100-150mm thick gravel (particle size 5~32mm) and an upper layer of coarse sand no less than 50mm thick. The base density should adhere to the specifications in Table 2. For soft soil foundations where the bearing capacity is insufficient or disturbed due to construction or precipitation, enhance the foundation first. Once the foundation meets the specified bearing capacity, lay the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. The axillary corner within the designed supporting angle of the earth arc foundation must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling should extend at least 30 degrees beyond the supporting angle 2α, ensuring the compactness meets technical regulations.
 

 

3. Dig the grooves for socket interfaces and sleeve connections in the pipeline foundation simultaneously with the pipeline laying. Determine the groove's dimensions (length, width, and depth) based on the pipe joint size. After joint completion, immediately backfill the area with medium coarse sand to the required density.

4. For sections where longitudinal uneven settlement of the pipeline may occur due to factors such as pipeline load and changes in ground soil, reinforce the foundation before laying the pipeline to prevent future issues.
Utilize composite foundation treatment methods such as sand piles and stone piles for the foundation of polyethylene drainage pipes. Avoid using rigid foundation treatments like driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations to ensure stability and durability.
