Installation Instructions

 

1. When installing buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, exclusively employ electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods for optimal performance. Refrain from using screw connections or bonding techniques. Each polyethylene water supply pipeline must be connected with specialized tools. Avoid using open flames for heating during the connection process to ensure safety and efficiency.

2. Polyethylene pipes must be connected using PE pipes and fittings of identical brand, material, and SDR rating. Conduct a thorough pre-connection test to ensure that all components meet stringent quality standards.

3. Maintain immaculate pipe ends when joining polyethylene water supply pipelines. Seal the pipe openings temporarily at the end of each work session to prevent contamination. Immediately inspect the interfaces upon completing each connection to ensure integrity.

 

4. Both before and after executing hot melt butt welding, use a pristine cotton cloth to meticulously clean the heating plate. Adhere strictly to the specified heating time and temperature guidelines provided by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and associated pipes and fittings.

5. Observe the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as stipulated by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical periods, it is essential not to move or apply pressure to the connecting parts to maintain connection quality.

6. Post-connection, it is crucial to perform a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour of completing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints before conducting the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, purge all air, and check for water tightness rigorously.

7. The pipeline engineering project can only be considered operational after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection, ensuring all standards and regulations are met.
