Installation Instructions
1. Prior to installation, it is essential that each Wilvida HDPE PE100 Composite Pipe, 75mm Water Supply Pipe undergoes a meticulous inspection. This ensures unwavering compliance with the most rigorous product standards. Pipes that do not meet these exceptional standards are strictly barred from any installation process.
2. Handle each pipe with utmost precision during relocation. Avoid dragging, rolling, or employing heavy machinery like forklifts and tractors, which could potentially damage the pipes within the trench. This careful handling is crucial to preserving the integrity of the pipes.
3. Throughout the pipe-laying endeavor, maintain a water-free trench. Ideally, synchronize trench excavation with the pipe installation phase. The trench groove should be consistent with the interface length, with a depth of 50-100mm and a width at least equal to the pipe's outer diameter. After interfacing, promptly backfill the groove with medium coarse sand to secure the installation.
4. For precision, utilize mechanical methods for cutting pipes to the desired lengths. Ensure cuts are clean, flat, and perpendicular to the pipe axis. Avoid open flames during cutting to preserve the pipes' structural integrity.
5. When adjusting pipe diameters or integrating branch pipes, always use appropriate pipe fittings. Avoid direct openings on pipes or fittings, as this could compromise the system's integrity. Proper fittings ensure a seamless and reliable connection.
6. Lay pipes according to the design's specified slope, diligently ensuring that elevation deviations remain within the boundaries set by the national standard GB 50268, 'Code for the Construction and Application of Water Supply and Drainage Pipe Engineering'.
7. In environments with low ambient temperatures or approaching minimum thresholds, employ fusion or flange connections. It is vital that all connecting components, including sockets, sleeves, and seals, are free of soil, water, or contaminants. Additionally, apply anti-corrosion treatments to metal parts such as looping flanges and bolts, considering soil quality and relevant standards.
