Installation Instructions

1. When installing buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is paramount to exclusively utilize electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. Traditional screw connections and bonding techniques are strictly forbidden. Ensure that every connection for polyethylene water supply pipelines is engineered using specialized tools. Refrain from using open flames during the connection process to avoid any safety hazards.

2. Polyethylene pipes must be connected using PE pipes and fittings that share the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Prior to initiating the connection process, perform meticulous testing to verify that the quality adheres to the necessary standards.

3. Ensure the ends of the polyethylene water supply pipelines are immaculate when making connections. At the end of each work session, temporarily seal the pipe openings to maintain cleanliness. Immediately inspect the interface upon completing the connection to ensure it meets the required standards.

4. Both before and after executing hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate using a pristine cotton cloth. Rigidly adhere to the heating time and temperature specifications provided by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings.

5. Adhere to the recommended pressure holding and cooling periods for hot melt butt welding as stipulated by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical periods, avoid any movement or application of pressure to the connecting parts to ensure the integrity of the weld.

6. Following the connection, it is crucial to conduct a water pressure test on the pipes. This test should be performed within 1 hour after completing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and ensure the joints are exposed before commencing the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, purge any trapped air, and then thoroughly check for water tightness.

7. The pipeline engineering construction can only be considered operational after it has successfully passed a rigorous final acceptance inspection.
