Installation Instructions

In the installation process of MPP power cable protection tube, the connection method is a critically important component. A well-chosen connection method ensures the reliable operation of the power piping system. This section outlines several common MPP power cable protection tube connection methods to help you understand their unique characteristics and appropriate application scenarios.

01. Before installation, check if the power supply, hydraulic oil, and heating plate of the welding machine meet the welding requirements. Conduct an empty car test run on the milling cutter oil pump switch, etc. Install the slips that match the pipe's specifications into the rack. Set the heating plate's temperature to the welding temperature, and before heating, wipe the heating plate's surface with clean soft paper or alcohol to remove any oil stains.

02. Remove dirt from both ends of the pipe. Place the pipe into the frame clamp, ensuring the extensions at both ends are equal. Parts outside the pipe rack should be supported by supports. Position the pipe at the same height as the frame's centerline, then secure the slip. Insert a milling cutter and mill the pipe.

03. Mill the pipe until continuous cutting occurs at both ends. Remove the pressure and allow the milling cutter to idle for two or three cycles before retracting the movable frame and turning off the milling cutter switch.

04. Remove the milling cutter and close the pipes at both ends. Check the end faces; the displacement of both ends of the pipe should not exceed 10% of the pipe wall thickness. When closing, there should be no visible gap between the two end faces of the pipe. The gap width should comply with 0.3MM (DN.<25MM); If 0.5MM (225MM400MM) does not meet the requirements, it should be milled again.

05. When the heating plate reaches the set temperature, quickly place it into the rack and apply the specified pressure until the circumference of the pipe ends flips and the minimum curling reaches the designated height. Reduce the pressure to the specified value, allowing the end face of the pipe to contact the heating plate, and continue heating for the specified duration.

06.When the heat absorption time reaches the specified value, retract the movable frame and quickly remove the heating plate. Close the two pipe ends as swiftly as possible, not exceeding the specified switching time. Ensure the closing pressure is not too high to prevent squeezing out molten material, which can degrade welding quality.

07.Increase the pressure to the specified value and maintain it during cooling. After natural cooling to room temperature, release the pressure, loosen the slip, remove the pipe, and complete the welding process.
