Our cutting-edge HDPE double-wall bellows offer versatile connection modes including both mechanical and advanced thermal fusion techniques. The primary methods employed are butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and precision compression connection, ensuring a seamless and robust integration for your stormwater drainage system.

1. Achieve optimal pipeline stability by establishing a firm earth arc foundation. For general soil conditions, lay a robust medium coarse sand base layer, 100mm thick, on the undisturbed soil or compacted foundation beneath the pipe. For substandard soil quality, opt for a superior sand gravel base layer of at least 200mm thick. This can be meticulously laid in two stages: a lower gravel layer with particle sizes ranging from 5~32mm, 100~150mm thick, and a top coarse sand layer no thinner than 50mm. Adhere to the density requirements specified in Table 2. In cases of soft soil foundation where the initial bearing capacity is compromised by construction activities or precipitation, fortify the foundation first. Once the desired bearing capacity is met, proceed to lay the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. Ensure structural integrity by backfilling the axillary corner within the designed earth arc foundation support angle range using premium medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling zone should extend beyond the support angle 2α by at least 30 degrees. Make sure the backfill compactness aligns with technical regulations to guarantee long-term durability.

3. As you lay the pipeline, simultaneously excavate the grooves at the socket interface and sleeve connections along the foundation. Tailor the groove dimensions—length, width, and depth—according to the specific pipe joint size. Immediately after completing the joint assembly, backfill the area with medium coarse sand to ensure a secure fit and optimal density.

4. In sections where potential longitudinal uneven settlement might occur due to pipeline load or ground soil variations, it’s crucial to reinforce the foundation prior to pipeline installation. This proactive measure will enhance stability and mitigate future settlement issues.
Opt for advanced composite foundation treatment methods, such as introducing sand piles or stone piles, to effectively stabilize the foundation of polyethylene drainage pipes. Avoid traditional rigid foundation treatments like driven piles, concrete pads, or strip foundations, as they do not complement the flexible nature of our piping solutions.
