Installation Instructions
1. When installing your buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, exclusively employ electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods to achieve peak performance and unwavering durability. Steer clear of screw connections or bonding, as they may jeopardize the pipeline's strength and reliability. Each connection of the polyethylene water supply pipeline must be executed with specialized tools crafted for precision, ensuring a flawless execution. Refrain from using open flames for heating during connections to protect the pipeline from damage and to guarantee a safe environment.
2. Polyethylene pipes should be connected using PE pipes and fittings of matching brand, material, and SDR rating to assure seamless compatibility and exceptional reliability. Before initiating the connection process, conduct a thorough test to verify that the quality meets the stringent required standards, ensuring a robust and enduring pipeline.
3. To achieve an immaculate and efficient connection when joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, ensure the pipe ends remain pristine. Temporarily seal pipe openings at the close of each work session to fend off contamination. Upon completion of the connection, perform an immediate inspection of the interface to confirm it is secure and devoid of any defects.
4. Before and after performing hot melt butt welding, meticulously cleanse the heating plate with an immaculate cotton cloth to guarantee optimal heat transfer and superior connection quality. Follow the precise heating time and temperature guidelines provided by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings, assuring the most successful outcomes.
5. Adhere strictly to the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as specified by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these crucial periods, it is vital not to move or exert pressure on the connecting parts, securing a robust and stable connection that stands the test of time.
6. Immediately post-connection, it is imperative to conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour following the completion of the hot-melt weld, confirming the pipeline's integrity and reliability. Secure the pipeline and ensure joints are exposed before the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, eliminate all air, and then meticulously check for watertightness, validating a triumphant connection.
7. The pipeline engineering construction is only deemed operational after triumphantly passing the final acceptance inspection, guaranteeing that all standards and specifications have been scrupulously met, delivering a safe and effective water supply system.
