Installation Instructions

1. For the installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is crucial to use electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods exclusively. Screw connections and bonding are strictly prohibited. Ensure each type of polyethylene water supply pipeline connection is executed with specialized tools. Avoid using open flames for heating during the connection process to maintain safety and integrity.

2. Polyethylene pipes must be connected using PE pipes and fittings of identical brand, material, and SDR rating. Before commencing the connection, conduct a thorough test to confirm that the quality meets the stringent required standards, ensuring reliability and performance.

3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, ensure that the pipe ends are pristine and devoid of contaminants. Temporarily seal the pipe openings at the end of each work session. Immediately inspect the interface upon completing the connection to ensure a secure fit.

4. Both before and after performing hot melt butt welding, thoroughly clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. Adhere strictly to the heating time and temperature guidelines specified by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings for optimal results.

5. Follow the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as outlined by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical periods, it is crucial not to move or apply pressure to the connecting parts to avoid compromising the joint.

6. Post-connection, it is essential to conduct a water pressure test on the pipes. Perform this test within 1 hour after completing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints prior to the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, clear out any air, and then check for water tightness to ensure a leak-free system.

7. The pipeline engineering construction can only be deemed operational after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection, ensuring all standards and criteria are met to guarantee a robust and reliable water supply system.
