Installation Instructions

1. For the installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, exclusively employ electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. Screw connections and bonding are strictly forbidden. Ensure that all polyethylene water supply pipeline connections are executed with specialized tools. Avoid the use of open flames during the connection process.

2. When connecting polyethylene pipes, use PE pipes and fittings of identical brand, material, and SDR rating. Before beginning, rigorously test to confirm the quality standards are met.

3. Ensure that the ends of polyethylene water supply pipelines are immaculate before joining. Seal the pipe openings temporarily at the conclusion of each work session. Inspect the interface immediately after completing the connection.

4. Prior to and following hot melt butt welding, thoroughly clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. Strictly follow the specified heating time and temperature guidelines provided by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings.

5. Adhere to the specified pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as prescribed by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these periods, it is crucial not to move or apply pressure to the connecting parts.

6. After connecting, conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour of completing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints before the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, purge any air, and check for watertightness.

7. Pipeline engineering construction is deemed operational only after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection.
