Installation Instructions

 

The connection modes for HDPE double-wall bellows and b and c tubes encompass both mechanical and a variety of thermal fusion techniques. The primary methods include butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection.

1. The pipeline should rest upon an earth arc base. For standard soil conditions, lay a 100mm thick layer of medium coarse sand on the undisturbed soil foundation or on a compacted backfill foundation below the pipe. If the foundation soil quality is subpar, use a sand-gravel base layer at least 200mm thick, which can be laid in two layers: the lower layer consisting of 5-32mm gravel with a thickness of 100-150mm, and the upper layer of coarse sand not less than 50mm thick. The base density must meet the criteria specified in Table 2. For soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity is inadequate or the foundation is disturbed due to construction precipitation, reinforce the foundation first. Once the foundation meets the required bearing capacity, lay the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. The axillary corner within the designed earth arc foundation's support angle must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling should cover an area not less than the support angle 2α plus 30, ensuring the compactness aligns with the technical regulations.
 

 

3. Grooves for socket interfaces and sleeve connections in the pipeline foundation should be excavated during pipeline laying. The groove's dimensions-length, width, and depth-should match the pipe joint size. After joint completion, backfill the groove with medium coarse sand immediately.

4. For sections where longitudinal uneven settlement of the pipeline might occur due to pipeline load or ground soil changes, reinforce the foundation before laying the pipeline.
For polyethylene drainage pipe foundation treatment, employ composite methods such as sand piles and stone piles. Avoid using rigid foundation treatments like driven piles, concrete pads, or concrete strip foundations.
