Installation Instructions

 

In the installation process of the MPP power cable protection tube, choosing the appropriate connection method is crucial. This selection ensures the reliable performance of the entire power piping system. This section introduces several common connection methods for MPP power cable protection tubes, detailing their characteristics and ideal application scenarios to guide you through the process.

01, Before beginning installation, verify that the power supply, hydraulic oil, and heating plate of the welding machine meet all welding requirements. Conduct an empty test run on the milling cutter oil pump switch. Install slips matching the pipe specifications into the rack. Set the heating plate to the welding temperature and clean its surface with soft paper or alcohol to remove any oil stains before heating.

02, Remove any dirt from both ends of the pipe. Position the pipe into the frame clamp, ensuring equal length extensions at both ends. Support the parts outside the pipe rack appropriately. Align the pipe at the same height as the frame's centerline, and secure the slip. Insert and mill the pipe with a milling cutter.

03, Mill the pipe until continuous cutting occurs at both ends. Then, release the pressure and let the milling cutter idle for two or three rotations before retracting the movable frame and turning off the milling cutter switch.

 

04, Remove the milling cutter and close the pipes at both ends. Inspect the end face; the displacement at both ends should not exceed 10% of the pipe wall thickness. Upon closing, ensure no noticeable gap between the pipe ends, adhering to the specified gap width of 0.3MM (DN.<25MM); If 0.5MM (225MM400MM) does not meet the requirements, it should be milled again.

05, Once the heating plate reaches the set temperature, swiftly place it in the rack and apply the specified pressure until the pipe ends flip circumference and the minimum curling height is reached. Reduce the pressure so the pipe end faces make contact with the heating plate and maintain this until the designated heating time is accomplished.

06,Upon achieving the specified heat absorption time, retract the movable frame quickly and remove the heating plate. Close the two pipe ends immediately, keeping the switching time as short as possible, not exceeding the specified value. The closing pressure should be moderate to prevent molten material from being squeezed out, which could reduce welding quality.

07,Raise the pressure to the specified value, maintaining it during the cooling phase. After the natural cooling process brings the pipe to room temperature, release the pressure, loosen the slip, and remove the pipe to complete the welding process.
