The material of PE water supply pipes is PE (polyethylene) resin, meticulously polymerized from monomer ethylene. By varying polymerization reaction conditions such as pressure and temperature, we obtain resins of different densities, resulting in high-density polyethylene (HDPE), medium-density polyethylene, and low-density polyethylene. Installation Instructions

 

1. For installing buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is imperative to exclusively use electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. Screw connections and bonding are strictly prohibited. Utilize specialized tools for each type of polyethylene water supply pipeline connection. Avoid using open flames for heating during the connection process, to ensure safety and integrity.

2. Polyethylene pipes must be connected using PE pipes and fittings of identical brand, material, and SDR rating. Before commencing the connection, conduct a thorough test to confirm that the quality meets the highest standards. This ensures a durable and reliable pipeline system.

3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, ensure that the pipe ends are pristine and free from contaminants. Temporarily seal the pipe openings at the end of each work session. Immediately inspect the interface upon completing the connection for a watertight seal.

 

4. Prior to and after performing hot melt butt welding, thoroughly clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. Adhere strictly to the heating time and temperature guidelines specified by the manufacturers of both the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings, guaranteeing a seamless connection.

5. Follow the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as outlined by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these periods, do not move or apply pressure to the connecting parts, ensuring a strong and stable bond.

6. After the connection is complete, conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour of completing the hot-melt weld. Ensure the pipeline is secured and the joints are exposed prior to the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, clear out any air, and check for water tightness to guarantee system reliability.

7. The pipeline engineering construction can only be deemed operational after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection, ensuring that all performance and safety standards are met.
