Installation Instructions

1. For the installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is crucial to utilize only electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. The use of screw connections and bonding is strictly forbidden. Each type of polyethylene water supply pipeline connection must be executed with specialized tools. Avoid open flames for heating during the connection process to ensure safety and integrity.

2. Polyethylene pipes must be connected using PE pipes and fittings that are of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Before starting the connection, perform a comprehensive test to verify that the quality meets all required standards.

3. During the joining of polyethylene water supply pipelines, ensure the pipe ends are clean and pristine. Temporarily seal the pipe openings at the end of each work session to maintain cleanliness. Immediately inspect the interface upon completing the connection to ensure it is secure.

4. Both before and after performing hot melt butt welding, thoroughly clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. Strictly follow the heating time and temperature guidelines specified by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings to ensure a strong and durable connection.

5. Adhere to the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as outlined by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these periods, it is crucial not to move or apply pressure to the connecting parts to maintain the integrity of the connection.

6. After completing the connection, conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints before the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, clear out any air, and check for water tightness to ensure a leak-free system.

7. The pipeline engineering construction can only be considered operational after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection, ensuring that all standards and requirements have been met.
