Installation Instructions
During the installation process of the MPP power cable protection tube, the connection method holds paramount importance. The correct selection of an appropriate connection method ensures the reliable operation of the power piping system. This section introduces several common MPP power cable protection tube connection methods, helping you understand their characteristics and application scenarios.
01. Before installation, verify whether the power supply, hydraulic oil, and heating plate of the welding machine meet the welding requirements. Conduct an idle test run on the milling cutter oil pump switch. Install the slips that match the pipe specifications into the rack. Set the heating plate temperature to the welding temperature. Prior to heating, clean the heating plate's surface with clean soft paper or alcohol to remove any oil stains.
02. Remove any dirt from both ends of the pipe. Position the pipe into the frame clamp, ensuring the extension length at both ends is equal. Support the parts outside the pipe rack. Align the pipe height with the frame's centerline, then secure the slip. Insert a milling cutter and begin milling the pipe.
03. After milling the pipe until continuous cutting appears at both ends, release the pressure and allow the milling cutter to idle for two or three rotations before retracting the movable frame and turning off the milling cutter switch.
04. Remove the milling cutter and bring the pipes at both ends together. Inspect the end face; the displacement at both ends should not exceed 10% of the pipe wall thickness. When closing, there should be no noticeable gap between the pipe ends, and the gap width should comply with: 0.3MM (DN).<25MM); If 0.5MM (225MM400MM) does not meet the requirements, it should be milled again.
05. Once the heating plate reaches the set temperature, quickly place it into the rack and apply the specified pressure until the pipe ends begin to curl, reaching the specified height. Reduce the pressure so that the pipe ends are in contact with the heating plate, and continue heating for the specified duration.
06.When the heat absorption time is achieved, retract the movable frame and swiftly remove the heating plate. Close the two pipe ends promptly, ensuring the switching time is minimal and does not exceed the specified duration. The closing pressure should be moderate to avoid squeezing out the molten material, which would compromise welding quality.
07.Increase the pressure to the specified level and maintain it during cooling. After natural cooling to room temperature, release the pressure, loosen the slip, remove the pipe, and complete the welding process.
