Installation Instructions

The connection modes of HDPE double-wall bellows and b and c tubes encompass both mechanical connections and a variety of thermal fusion processes. The primary methods include butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection.

1. Pipeline Installation on Earth Arc Foundation: For general soil quality, a 100mm thick layer of medium coarse sand should be laid on undisturbed soil or a compacted foundation below the pipe bottom. If the foundation soil is poor, use a sand gravel base layer at least 200mm thick, possibly in two layers: the lower layer with 5-32mm gravel and a thickness of 100-150mm, and the upper layer with coarse sand no less than 50mm thick. The base density should meet Table 2's standards. For soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity falls below design requirements due to construction precipitation or other factors, the foundation must be strengthened before laying the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. Axillary Corner Backfilling: The axillary corner within the designed earth arc foundation's support angle must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel. The backfill range should extend beyond the support angle 2α plus 30, and the backfill compactness must comply with technical regulations.

3. Grooves for Socket Interface and Sleeve Connection: These should be dug concurrently with pipeline laying. The groove's length, width, and depth should match the pipe joint size. Upon joint completion, backfill the groove immediately with medium coarse sand to achieve the required density.

4. Foundation Reinforcement for Uneven Settlement: For sections where longitudinal uneven settlement might occur due to pipeline load or soil changes, the foundation should be reinforced prior to pipeline installation.
Composite Foundation Treatment Methods: For polyethylene drainage pipe foundations, adopt sand pile, stone pile, or other composite treatment methods. Avoid rigid foundation treatments such as driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations.
