Installation Instructions
 

The connection modes of HDPE double-wall bellows and b and c tubes include mechanical connection and a series of thermal fusion procedures. The main modes are: butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection.

1. The pipeline should be based on an earth arc. For general soil quality, lay a medium coarse sand base layer 100mm thick on the undisturbed soil foundation or on the foundation with backfill compaction below the pipe bottom. If the foundation soil quality is poor, use a sand gravel base layer no less than 200mm thick. This can be laid in two layers: the lower layer of gravel with a particle size of 5~32mm and a thickness of 100~150mm, and the upper layer of coarse sand no less than 50mm thick. The base density must comply with Table 2 provisions. For soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity is less than design requirements or construction precipitation affects the foundation, it must be strengthened first. Once the required bearing capacity is reached, lay the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. The axillary corner within the supporting angle range of the designed earth arc foundation must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling range must not be less than the supporting angle 2α plus 30, and the backfilling compactness must comply with technical regulations.

3. Dig grooves in the socket interface and sleeve connection in the pipeline foundation along with the pipeline laying. Determine the length, width, and depth of the groove based on the pipe joint size. After joint completion, backfill with medium coarse sand immediately.

4. For sections where longitudinal uneven settlement of the pipeline may occur due to factors like pipeline load and soil changes, reinforce the foundation before laying the pipeline.
Use sand pile, stone pile, and other composite foundation treatment methods for polyethylene drainage pipe foundation treatment. Do not use rigid foundation treatment measures like driven pile, concrete pad, or concrete strip foundation.
