Installation Instructions

 

1. For the seamless installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is crucial to utilize electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods exclusively. Screw connections and bonding are categorically forbidden. Ensure that each connection of polyethylene water supply pipelines is executed with specialized tools. Avoid using any open flames for heating during the connection process.

2. Polyethylene pipes must be connected using PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Before initiating the connection process, conduct a comprehensive test to verify that the quality meets the stringent standards required.

3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, ensure that the pipe ends are immaculate. Temporarily seal the pipe openings at the end of each work session. Promptly inspect the interface upon completing the connection to ensure integrity.

 

4. Both before and after performing hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. Adhere strictly to the heating time and temperature guidelines specified by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the corresponding pipes and fittings.

5. Rigorously follow the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as outlined by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical periods, it is essential not to move or apply pressure to the connecting parts to ensure a robust joint.

6. Upon completing the connection, it is imperative to conduct a water pressure test on the pipes. This test should be performed within 1 hour of completing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints prior to the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, eliminate any trapped air, and then meticulously check for water tightness.

7. The pipeline engineering construction can only be considered operational after successfully passing the rigorous final acceptance inspection.
