Installation Instructions
 

The connection modes for Wilvida High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) double-wall bellows and tubes B and C include both mechanical and thermal fusion procedures. These sophisticated connections can be made through butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection, ensuring a secure and robust setup for your stormwater ventilation system.

1. The pipeline should rest on an earth arc foundation. For general soil quality, lay a medium coarse sand base layer, 100mm thick, on undisturbed soil or compacted backfill below the pipe's bottom. For poor soil quality, use a gravel-sand base layer at least 200mm thick, possibly in two layers: a lower gravel layer (5-32mm particle size, 100-150mm thick) and an upper coarse sand layer no less than 50mm thick. Ensure the base density complies with Table 2 provisions. For soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity is below design requirements or disturbed by construction precipitation, strengthen the foundation first. Once the specified bearing capacity is achieved, lay the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. The axillary corner within the supporting angle range of the earth arc foundation must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfill area should extend 30 degrees beyond the supporting angle 2α, with compactness meeting technical regulation standards.

3. Excavate grooves for socket interfaces and sleeve connections along with the pipeline laying. Determine groove dimensions based on pipe joint sizes, and backfill with medium coarse sand immediately after joint completion to ensure proper density.

4. For sections susceptible to longitudinal uneven settlement due to factors like pipeline load and ground soil changes, reinforce the foundation before laying the pipeline to maintain stability.
Sand pile, stone pile, and other composite foundation treatments are recommended for polyethylene drainage pipe foundations. Avoid using rigid foundation treatments like driven piles, concrete pads, or concrete strip foundations to ensure flexibility and durability.
