Installation Instructions

1. Thorough inspection of each pipe is required against the product standards before installation. Any pipe that fails to meet these standards must not be installed under any circumstances.

2. When handling the pipe, it must be lifted and placed gently. Avoid dragging, rolling, or using equipment such as forklifts, tractors, or fork trucks to transport the pipe within the trench.

3. Ensure that no water accumulates in the trench during installation. It is advisable to dig the trench concurrently with the laying of the pipe. The groove length should match the interface length, with a depth of 50-100mm and a width no less than the pipe's outer diameter. Immediately backfill the grooves with medium coarse sand after completing the interface.

4. When it's necessary to cut the pipe to a specific length, use mechanical cutting methods. Ensure the cutting face is smooth and perpendicular to the pipe's axis. Avoid using open flames for cutting.

5. When altering the pipe diameter or connecting a branch pipe, use appropriately matched pipe fittings. Do not create holes in the pipes and fittings for connection purposes.

6. Lay the pipe following the design-required slope. Ensure the elevation error does not exceed the limits set by the current national standard 'Code for the Construction and Application of Water supply and Drainage Pipe Engineering' GB 50268 for prestressed concrete pipes.

7. In low or near-minimum ambient temperatures, use fusion or flange connections. Before connecting, clean the socket, sleeve, seal, and other accessories, ensuring they are free from soil, water, and other contaminants. For metal components like flanges and bolts used in flange connections, apply anti-corrosion measures according to the site soil quality and relevant standards.
