Installation Instructions

 

1. Each pipe must undergo a meticulous inspection in accordance with product standards before installation. Pipes failing to meet these standards are strictly prohibited from being laid.

2. When moving the pipe, it must be lifted and placed with care. Dragging, rolling, or using forklifts, tractors, or similar machinery to move pipes within the trench is strictly forbidden.

3. Ensure that no water accumulates in the trench during pipe laying. Trenches should be dug concurrently with pipe laying. The groove's length should match the interface length, with a depth of 50-100mm, and a width exceeding the pipe's outer diameter. Immediately after completing the interface, backfill grooves with medium coarse sand.

4. When a pipe needs to be cut, mechanical methods should be employed to achieve a straight, perpendicular cut to the pipe axis. Avoid using open flames.

 

5. Use appropriate pipe fittings for diameter changes or branch connections. Do not create holes on pipes and fittings for connections.

6. Pipes must be laid according to the design's specified slope, and the elevation error should not exceed the limits set by the national standard "Code for the Construction and Application of Water Supply and Drainage Pipe Engineering" GB 50268 for prestressed concrete pipes.

7. Utilize fusion or flange connections, especially when temperatures are low or near the minimum threshold. Clean the socket, sleeve, seal, and other connecting parts thoroughly, ensuring they're free from soil, water, and impurities. Apply anti-corrosion measures to metal components like flanges and bolts based on onsite soil quality and corresponding standards.
