Installation Instructions

 

The superior connection modes of our HDPE double-wall bellows and b and c tubes encompass both mechanical connections and an array of advanced thermal fusion procedures. The primary methods include butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection, ensuring robust and reliable pipe joins.

1. Pipeline installation must commence on an earth arc base. For standard soil quality, it's essential to lay a medium coarse sand base layer at least 100mm thick on the undisturbed soil foundation or a compacted backfill foundation below the pipe bottom. Should the soil foundation quality be poor, consider a sand gravel base layer no less than 200mm thick or a two-tier layer: a lower layer of gravel (5~32mm particle size) 100~150mm thick, and an upper coarse sand layer at least 50mm thick. Ensure the base density aligns with Table 2 requirements. For soft soil foundations where bearing capacity is insufficient due to design flaws or construction disturbances like precipitation, the foundation must be strengthened to meet specified bearing capacity before laying the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. The axillary corner within the pipeline earth arc foundation's supporting angle must be meticulously backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling area must exceed the supporting Angle 2α by at least 30 degrees, and the backfill compactness must meet specified technical regulations.
 

 

3. The grooves for the socket interface and sleeve connection in the pipeline foundation should be crafted concurrently with the pipeline laying process. Dimensions of the groove (length, width, and depth) should correspond to the pipe joint size. Post-joint completion, backfill immediately with medium coarse sand to the required density.

4. For sections where longitudinal uneven settlement might occur due to pipeline load variations or ground soil changes, it is imperative to reinforce the foundation prior to laying the pipeline to ensure stability and longevity.
For the foundation treatment of polyethylene drainage pipes, adopt composite methods such as sand pile or stone pile treatments. Avoid rigid foundation treatment measures like driven piles, concrete pads, or concrete strip foundations to ensure optimal performance and durability of the installation.
