The primary modes encompass butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection, ensuring robust and reliable performance.

1. For optimal installation, the pipeline should rest on a well-prepared earth arc foundation. In standard soil conditions, a 100mm thick layer of medium coarse sand should be laid over the undisturbed soil or compacted backfill beneath the pipe. In cases of poor soil quality, a sand gravel base layer no less than 200mm thick is recommended. Alternatively, a dual-layer approach can be utilized: a lower layer of 100-150mm thick gravel (5-32mm particle size) topped with a minimum 50mm thick layer of coarse sand. Ensure the base density meets the requirements outlined in Table 2. For soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity is compromised due to construction activities or precipitation, it is vital to first reinforce the foundation to achieve the specified bearing capacity before laying the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. The axillary corners within the supporting angle range of the designed earth arc foundation must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling range should extend beyond the supporting Angle 2α by at least 30, and the compactness of the backfill must adhere to technical regulation standards.

3. When laying the pipeline, any grooves at the socket interface and sleeve connection must be excavated concurrently. The dimensions of these grooves—length, width, and depth—should correspond to the pipe joint size. Once the jointing process is completed, immediately backfill the area densely with medium coarse sand to ensure stability.

4. In pipeline sections susceptible to longitudinal uneven settlement due to factors like pipeline load and varying ground soil conditions, it is essential to reinforce the foundation prior to laying the pipeline.
For the foundational treatment of polyethylene drainage pipes, adopt composite methods such as sand piles and stone piles. Avoid using rigid foundation solutions like driven piles, concrete pads, or concrete strip foundations to ensure flexible and stable support.
