In the installation process of the MPP power cable protection tube, the connection method is a pivotal phase. Selecting the correct connection method ensures the seamless and reliable operation of the power piping system. This section presents several common MPP power cable protection tube connection methods, providing insights into the features and application scenarios of each technique.

01, Before installation, verify that the power supply, hydraulic oil, and heating plate of the welding machine meet all welding requirements. Conduct a no-load test run on the milling cutter oil pump switch and other components. Install the slips matching the pipe specifications into the rack. Set the heating plate temperature to the welding temperature, and before heating, use clean soft paper or alcohol to wipe the heating plate surface clean of any oil stains.

02, Clean the dirt from both ends of the pipe. Position the pipe into the frame clamp, ensuring equal lengths extend from both ends. Use supports to stabilize the parts outside the pipe rack. Align the pipe height with the centerline of the frame, secure the slip, insert a milling cutter, and mill the pipe.

03, Mill the pipe until continuous cutting occurs at both ends. Release the pressure and let the milling cutter run idle for two to three cycles before retracting the movable frame and switching off the milling cutter.

04, Remove the milling cutter and bring the pipe ends together. Check the end faces; the displacement should not exceed 10% of the pipe wall thickness. The pipe ends should close with no substantial gaps, and any gap width must comply with: 0.3MM (DN.<25MM); If 0.5MM (225MM400MM) does not meet the requirements, it should be milled again.

05, When the heating plate temperature reaches the set value, quickly place it into the rack and apply the specified pressure until the circumference of the pipe ends flips and achieves the minimum curling height. Reduce the pressure to the prescribed value, ensuring the pipe end face contacts the heating plate continuously until the specified heating time elapses.

06, When the heat absorption period is complete, retract the movable frame and swiftly remove the heating plate. Bring the pipe ends together; the switching time should be minimized, adhering to the specified limits. Excessive closing pressure can extrude molten material, compromising welding quality.07, Increase the pressure to the specified value and maintain it during cooling. After the pipe naturally cools to room temperature, release the pressure, loosen the slip, remove the pipe, and complete the welding process.
