Installation Instructions

 

1. Prior to installation, each pipe must undergo a meticulous inspection in accordance with the stringent product standards. Pipes failing to meet these standards must not be laid under any circumstances.

2. When transporting the pipes, they should be handled with the utmost care, lifted, and placed gently. Dragging, rolling, or using vehicles such as forklifts, tractors, or any other equipment to move the pipes within the trench is strictly forbidden.

3. Ensure the trench remains dry during the pipe laying process. It is ideal to dig the trench concurrently with the pipe laying. The trench length should correspond to the interface length, with a depth of 50-100mm, and a width not less than the pipe's outer diameter. After completing the interface, backfill the grooves immediately with medium coarse sand.

4. If pipe cutting is necessary, employ mechanical cutting methods to achieve a clean, flat cut that is perpendicular to the pipe's axis. Avoid using open flames for cutting.

 

5. When altering the pipe diameter or connecting branch pipes, use the appropriate pipe fittings. Do not create holes in pipes or fittings for additional connections.

6. Pipes must be laid in accordance with the slope requirements stipulated in the design. The elevation deviation must not exceed the limits specified in the national standard "Code for the Construction and Application of Water Supply and Drainage Pipe Engineering" GB 50268 for prestressed concrete pipes.

7. For low or near-minimum ambient temperatures, opt for fusion or flange connections. Ensure all connecting parts, including sockets, sleeves, and seals, are meticulously cleaned of soil, water, and other impurities. Implement anti-corrosion measures for metal components like flanges and bolts used in flange connections, with considerations based on on-site soil conditions and relevant standards.
