Installation Instructions

The connection modes of HDPE double-wall bellows and b and c tubes include mechanical connection and a series of thermal fusion procedures, the main modes are butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection.

1. The pipeline must be installed on a solid earth arc foundation. For general soil conditions, lay a 100mm thick layer of medium coarse sand on the undisturbed soil or compacted backfill at the pipe's bottom. For poor soil conditions, use a gravel base layer at least 200mm thick, potentially in two layers: a lower layer of gravel (5~32mm particle size, 100~150mm thick) and an upper layer of coarse sand (minimum 50mm thick). The base density must meet the specifications in Table 2. For soft soil foundations with inadequate bearing capacity, strengthen the foundation before laying the medium coarse sand layer to meet design requirements.

2. The axillary corner within the support angle range of the designed earth arc foundation of the pipeline must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling range shall extend beyond the support angle 2α by an additional 30 degrees, and the compactness must conform to technical regulations.

3. When laying the pipeline, dig grooves in the socket interface and sleeve connection areas of the foundation. The groove's length, width, and depth should match the pipe joint size. After joining, backfill the groove immediately with medium coarse sand to ensure proper density.

4. For sections where longitudinal uneven settlement may occur due to pipeline load or soil changes, reinforce the foundation before laying the pipeline.
For the foundation treatment of polyethylene drainage pipes, adopt composite methods like sand piles or stone piles. Avoid rigid measures such as driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations.
