Installation Instructions

Our HDPE double-wall bellows and B and C tubes offer versatile connection options, including mechanical joining and advanced thermal fusion techniques. Key methods encompass butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection.

1. For optimal installation, the pipeline should rest on an earthen arc base. In standard soil conditions, lay a 100mm-thick medium coarse sand base layer on undisturbed soil or a compacted backfill foundation beneath the pipe's bottom. For poor soil quality, employ a sand gravel base layer of no less than 200mm thick, which may be applied in two layers: a lower layer of 100-150mm thick gravel (particle size 5~32mm), and an upper layer of coarse sand at least 50mm thick. Ensure the base density meets the criteria outlined in Table 2. For soft soil foundations, if the foundation's bearing capacity falls short of design requirements or is compromised by construction or precipitation, it must be reinforced before laying the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. The pipeline's earth arc foundation support angles must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilled area should cover at least the support angle 2α plus 30°, ensuring the backfilling compactness aligns with technical regulations.

3. Socket interfaces and sleeve connections in the pipeline foundation should be excavated concurrently with the pipeline laying. The groove dimensions—length, width, and depth—should match the pipe joint size. Upon joint completion, immediately backfill to the required density with medium coarse sand.

4. In sections prone to longitudinal uneven settlement due to factors such as pipeline load or soil changes, the foundation must be reinforced prior to pipeline installation.
For polyethylene drainage pipe foundation treatment, adopt composite methods like sand pile or stone pile. Avoid using rigid methods such as driven piles, concrete pads, or concrete strip foundations.
