Installation Instructions

The connection methods of our HDPE double-wall bellows and B and C tubes are versatile and reliable, encompassing both mechanical connections and an array of advanced thermal fusion techniques. The principal methods include butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection, ensuring a robust and secure fit for all your pipeline needs.

1. The pipeline should be supported by an earth arc foundation. For standard soil conditions, a base layer of medium coarse sand with a thickness of 100mm should be laid on undisturbed soil or a properly compacted backfill foundation below the pipe. If the soil quality is substandard, a gravel base layer with a minimum thickness of 200mm should be used. This can also be achieved in two layers: the lower layer of gravel with a particle size of 5~32mm and a thickness of 100~150mm, and the upper layer of coarse sand no less than 50mm thick. The base density must meet the specifications outlined in Table 2. For soft soil foundations where the bearing capacity is insufficient, or if construction has disturbed the soil, leading to reduced bearing capacity, the foundation must be reinforced accordingly. Only after achieving the specified bearing capacity should the medium coarse sand foundation layer be laid.

2. The axillary corner within the support angle range of the designed earth arc foundation of the pipeline must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling range should not be less than the support angle 2α plus 30, and the compactness of the backfill must adhere to the regulations stipulated in the technical guidelines.

3. For the grooves at the socket interface and sleeve connection within the pipeline foundation, excavation should be done concurrently with the pipe laying. The groove dimensions—length, width, and depth—should be adjusted to accommodate the pipe joint size. Once the joint is successfully connected, the groove should immediately be backfilled with medium coarse sand to ensure proper density.

4. For sections where longitudinal uneven settlement might occur due to factors like pipeline load or ground soil changes, the foundation should be reinforced before laying the pipeline. This preemptive measure ensures long-term stability and performance of the pipeline system.
For polyethylene drainage pipe foundation treatment, composite methods such as sand piles and stone piles are recommended. Do not use rigid foundation treatment measures like driven piles, concrete pads, or concrete strip foundations, as these are unsuitable for this application and may compromise the integrity of the system.
