Installation Instructions
 

The connection modes for HDPE double-wall bellows and B and C tubes encompass both mechanical and thermal fusion procedures. The primary connection techniques include butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connections, and compression connections.

1. Pipeline installation requires an earth arc base. For standard soil quality, lay a 100mm thick layer of medium coarse sand on the undisturbed soil foundation or a compacted backfill foundation beneath the pipe. For poor soil quality foundations, use a sand gravel base layer at least 200mm thick, which can be laid in two layers. The lower layer should consist of 100~150mm thick gravel with a particle size of 5~32mm, while the upper layer should be coarse sand with a minimum thickness of 50mm. Ensure the base density complies with the guidelines outlined in Table 2. For soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity is insufficient due to construction or groundwater issues, strengthen the foundation first. Once the bearing capacity meets the design requirements, lay the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. The axillary corner within the supporting angle range of the designed earth arc foundation must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling range should be at least the supporting angle 2α plus 30°, and the backfilling compactness must comply with technical regulations.

3. The grooves for the socket interface and sleeve connection in the pipeline foundation should be dug during the pipeline laying process. Determine the length, width, and depth of the groove based on the pipe joint size. After completing the joint, immediately backfill with medium coarse sand to ensure proper density.

4. For sections where longitudinal uneven settlement of the pipeline may occur due to factors such as pipeline load and soil changes, reinforce the foundation before laying the pipeline.
Adopt composite foundation treatment methods such as sand pile and stone pile for polyethylene drainage pipe foundations. Avoid using rigid foundation treatment measures like driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations.
