Installation Instructions

 

1. For optimal installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, employ only electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. Avoid screw connections or bonding methods entirely. Each type of polyethylene water supply pipeline connection must be executed using specialized tools. Refrain from using open flames for heating during the connection process.

2. Ensure that polyethylene pipes are connected using PE pipes and fittings from the same brand, material, and with an identical SDR rating. Before starting the connection, conduct a thorough test to ensure the quality meets the required standards.

3. During the joining of polyethylene water supply pipelines, ensure the pipe ends remain pristine. Temporarily seal pipe openings whenever work is paused. Immediately inspect the interface upon completing each connection.

 

4. Before and after performing hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a fresh cotton cloth. Adhere strictly to the heating time and temperature guidelines provided by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings.

5. Follow the specified pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as outlined by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these periods, it is vital not to move or apply pressure to the connecting parts.

6. After completing the connection, it is crucial to conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints before the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, purge all air, and then confirm water tightness.

7. The pipeline engineering construction is only considered operational after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection.
