Installation Instructions

 

1. For the installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, exclusively deploy electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. Screw connections or bonding are strictly prohibited. Ensure each polyethylene water supply pipeline connection is executed using specialized tools. Refrain from using open flames for heating during the connection process, ensuring a safe and secure bond.

2. Ensure polyethylene pipes are connected using PE pipes and fittings from the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Conduct a thorough test prior to commencing the connection to confirm that the quality standards are met to guarantee a reliable and durable pipeline system.

3. When connecting polyethylene water supply pipelines, ensure pipe ends are impeccably clean. Temporarily seal pipe openings at the end of each work session to protect from contaminants. Immediately inspect the interface upon completing the connection to ensure it meets quality standards.

 

4. Both before and after performing hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. Adhere rigorously to the heating time and temperature guidelines specified by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and pipes and fittings to ensure a perfect weld.

5. Observe the specified pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as stipulated by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical periods, it is imperative not to move or apply pressure to the connecting parts to maintain the integrity of the weld.

6. Post-connection, conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour after completing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints prior to the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, purge all air, and then check for water tightness to validate the strength and reliability of the connections.

7. Pipeline engineering construction can only be deemed operational after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection. Ensure all standards and specifications are met to guarantee a safe and efficient water supply system.
