Installation Instructions

1. When installing buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is paramount to exclusively employ electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. These techniques ensure superior performance and unmatched durability. Avoid any use of screw connections or bonding, as they may significantly compromise pipeline integrity and robustness. Each polyethylene water supply pipeline connection should be executed using specialized precision tools. To maintain safety and prevent any damage, strictly avoid open flames during the heating process.

2. For seamless connectivity and reliability, polyethylene pipes must be connected using PE pipes and fittings of identical brand, material, and SDR rating. Before starting the connection, conduct a thorough test to verify that the quality meets all required standards, ensuring a secure and enduring pipeline system.

3. To achieve an efficient and seamless connection of polyethylene water supply pipelines, ensure pipe ends are kept immaculate. At the end of each work session, temporarily seal pipe openings to prevent contamination. After completing the connection, promptly inspect the interface to guarantee it is secure and devoid of any defects.

4. Before and after executing hot melt butt welding, diligently clean the heating plate with a clean cotton cloth. This ensures optimal heat transfer and connection quality. Always adhere to the manufacturer's specified heating time and temperature guidelines for the hot melt butt welding machine, pipes, and fittings to achieve the best results.

5. Adhere to the specified pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding, as outlined by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical periods, refrain from moving or applying pressure to the connecting parts to guarantee a robust and stable connection.

6. After each connection, promptly conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour after the hot-melt weld is completed. This ensures the pipeline's integrity and reliability. Prior to the hydrostatic test, secure the pipeline and expose the joints. Fill the pipeline with water, purge all air, and verify water tightness to confirm a successful connection.

7. A pipeline engineering construction project is only considered operational upon successfully passing the final acceptance inspection. This confirms that all standards and specifications have been satisfied, assuring a safe and effective water supply system.
