During the installation process of the MPP power cable protection tube, choosing the correct connection method is crucial. This ensures the reliable operation of the power piping system. In this section, we introduce several common methods for connecting MPP power cable protection tubes, outlining the characteristics and ideal application scenarios for each, ensuring a seamless and efficient installation.

01,Before beginning installation, ensure the power supply, hydraulic oil, and heating plate of the welding machine meet all welding requirements. Conduct an empty test run on the milling cutter oil pump switch. Install the slips that match the pipe specifications into the rack. Set the heating plate to the appropriate welding temperature. Clean the heating plate's surface with soft paper or alcohol before heating to remove any oil stains.

02,Clear any dirt from both ends of the pipe. Place the pipe into the frame clamp, ensuring equal extension lengths at both ends. The sections outside the pipe rack should be supported. Align the pipe height with the centerline of the frame, then secure the slip. Insert a milling cutter and commence milling the pipe.

03,Mill the pipe until continuous cutting is observed at both ends. Release the pressure and allow the milling cutter to idle for two or three turns before retracting the movable frame and turning off the milling cutter switch.

 

04,Remove the milling cutter and close the pipes at both ends. Inspect the end face, ensuring the displacement does not exceed 10% of the pipe wall thickness. When closing, there should be no visible gap between the pipe end faces, and the gap width should meet the standard: 0.3MM (DN.<25MM); If 0.5MM (225MM400MM) does not meet the requirements, it should be milled again.

05,Once the heating plate reaches the set temperature, quickly place it into the rack and apply the specified pressure until the pipe ends circumference flips, achieving the specified curling height. Reduce the pressure to the required value, ensuring the pipe end face contacts the heating plate. Continue heating for the designated duration.

06,When the heat absorption time is reached, retract the movable frame and swiftly remove the heating plate. Close the two pipe ends together, ensuring the switching time is minimal and within the specified limit. Avoid excessive closing pressure to prevent molten material from being squeezed out, which would degrade welding quality.07,Increase the pressure to the designated value and maintain it for cooling. Once naturally cooled to room temperature, release the pressure, loosen the slip, and remove the pipe, completing the welding process.
