The connection methodologies for HDPE Double-Wall Bellows and B and C Tubes embrace both mechanical and advanced thermal fusion procedures. The primary connection techniques include butt fusion, electrofusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connections, and compression fittings.

1. The pipeline should be supported by an earth arc base. For standard soil conditions, a 100mm thick layer of medium coarse sand should be laid on the undisturbed soil foundation or compacted backfill foundation under the pipe. In cases of poor soil quality, a sand gravel base layer of at least 200mm thickness is recommended. This can be laid in two layers: the lower one composed of 100-150mm thick gravel with a particle size of 5-32mm, and the upper one consisting of at least 50mm thick coarse sand. The base density should meet the criteria outlined in Table 2. For soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity is less than the design requirements or is compromised due to construction precipitation, the foundation must be fortified. Once the required bearing capacity is achieved, the medium coarse sand foundation layer can be laid.

2. The axillary corner within the supportive angle range of the designed earth arc foundation must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling area should extend beyond the supportive angle 2α by 30 degrees, and the compactness must adhere to technical regulations.

3. Grooves in the socket interface and sleeve connections within the pipeline foundation should be dug concurrently with the pipeline laying. The groove's dimensions (length, width, depth) depend on the pipe joint size. Once the joint is completed, it should be immediately backfilled with medium coarse sand to ensure density.

4. For sections where longitudinal uneven settlement of the pipeline may occur due to pipeline load or ground soil changes, the foundation must be reinforced before laying the pipeline.
For the foundation treatment of polyethylene drainage pipes, composite methods such as sand piles and stone piles should be employed. Rigid foundation treatments like driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations are not recommended.
