Installation Instructions

 

In the installation process of MPP power cable protection tube, the connection method is a very important part. The correct selection of the appropriate connection method can ensure the reliable operation of the power piping system. This section introduces several common MPP power cable protection tube connection methods to help you understand the characteristics and application scenarios of each method.

01, Before commencing installation, ensure that the power supply, hydraulic oil, and heating plate of the welding machine meet all welding requirements. Conduct an empty car test run on the milling cutter oil pump switch, among other checks. Next, install the slips that match the pipe's specifications into the rack. Set the temperature of the heating plate to the required welding temperature. Prior to heating, cleanse the surface of the heating plate with clean soft paper or alcohol to remove any oil stains.

02, Remove any dirt from both ends of the pipe. Secure the pipe into the frame clamp, ensuring that the extension length at both ends is equal. Use supports to hold the parts outside the pipe rack. Align the pipe to the same height as the centerline of the frame, and then secure the slip. Insert a milling cutter to mill the pipe.

03, Mill the pipe until continuous cutting occurs at both ends. After this, remove the pressure and let the milling cutter idle for two or three revolutions before retracting the movable frame and turning off the milling cutter switch.

 

04, Remove the milling cutter and bring the pipes at both ends together. Inspect the end face; the displacement at both ends should not exceed 10% of the pipe wall thickness. When closing the pipe ends, there should be no observable gap between the two faces, and the gap width should comply with: 0.3MM (DN.<25MM); If 0.5MM (225MM400MM) does not meet the requirements, it should be milled again.

05, When the heating plate reaches the set temperature, swiftly place it into the rack and apply the specified pressure until the circumference of the pipe ends flips and the minimum curling reaches the designated height. Reduce the pressure to the specified value, ensuring the pipe end face contacts the heating plate, and continue heating for the specified duration.

06,When the heat absorption time reaches the specified value, retract the movable frame and quickly remove the heating plate. Close the two pipe ends together within the shortest time possible, not exceeding the specified switching time. Ensure that the closing pressure isn't too high to avoid squeezing out molten material and compromising welding quality.

07,Increase the pressure to the specified value and maintain it for cooling. After allowing the pipes to cool naturally to room temperature, release the pressure, loosen the slip, remove the pipe, and complete the welding process.
