Installation Instructions

 

The connection methods of our HDPE double-wall bellows, as well as B and C tubes, encompass both mechanical and thermal fusion techniques. The primary connection modes include butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection.

1. The pipeline should be based on an earth arc. For general soil quality, lay a 100mm thick layer of medium coarse sand on the undisturbed soil foundation or the backfilled and compacted foundation below the pipe. In cases of poor soil quality, a sand gravel base layer of at least 200mm thickness can be utilized, possibly in two layers: a lower layer of 5-32mm gravel with 100-150mm thickness and an upper layer of coarse sand no less than 50mm thick. The base density must comply with Table 2 provisions. For soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity is less than design requirements or is affected by construction activities, the foundation must first be strengthened. Once the specified bearing capacity is achieved, lay the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. The axillary corner within the designed earth arc foundation's supporting angle must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling range should be at least the supporting angle 2α plus 30, and the compactness must comply with technical regulations.
 

 

3. Grooves in the socket interface and sleeve connection in the pipeline foundation should be dug concurrently with pipeline laying. The groove dimensions (length, width, and depth) can be determined based on the pipe joint size. Upon joint completion, backfill the area with medium coarse sand immediately.

4. For sections where longitudinal uneven settlement of the pipeline may occur due to factors like pipeline load and ground soil changes, the foundation should be reinforced before laying the pipeline.
For the foundation treatment of polyethylene drainage pipes, employ composite methods like sand piles and stone piles. Do not use rigid foundation treatments such as driven piles, concrete pads, or concrete strip foundations.
