Installation Instructions

The connection methods for HDPE double-wall bellows with b and c tubes are versatile, including mechanical and thermal fusion procedures. These primary methods encompass butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection, ensuring a robust and reliable assembly.

1. For pipeline installation, use an earth arc foundation. On general soil, lay a medium coarse sand base layer, 100mm thick, on the undisturbed soil foundation or compacted backfill foundation below the pipe. Poor soil foundations require a sand gravel base layer at least 200mm thick, which can be laid in two layers: a lower gravel layer (5-32mm particle size, 100-150mm thick) and an upper coarse sand layer (minimum 50mm thick). Base density should meet the specifications in Table 2. For soft soil foundations, strengthen the base if its bearing capacity is below design requirements or affected by factors like construction precipitation. Once the foundation meets the required bearing capacity, lay the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. The axillary corner within the pipeline's designed earth arc foundation support angle must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling range should extend beyond the support angle 2α by at least 30 degrees, ensuring the backfill compactness adheres to technical regulations.

3. Dig grooves for the socket interface and sleeve connection along with the pipeline laying. The groove dimensions—length, width, and depth—should match the pipe joint size. Once the joint is complete, immediately backfill with medium coarse sand to ensure density.

4. Reinforce the foundation before laying the pipeline in areas where longitudinal uneven settlement may occur due to factors like pipeline load and ground soil changes.
For polyethylene drainage pipe foundation treatment, adopt methods like sand pile and stone pile composite foundations. Avoid using rigid foundation treatment measures such as driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations.
