Installation Instructions

 

1. Prior to installation, meticulously inspect each pipe segment in accordance with the product standards. Any pipe failing to meet these stringent standards must not be laid.

2. Exercise utmost care when lifting and placing the pipes; they must be handled gently. Avoid dragging, rolling, or using forklifts, tractors, or other heavy machinery to move pipes within the trench.

3. Ensure the trench remains dry during pipe laying. Opt for a simultaneous dig-and-lay approach. The groove's length should match the interface length; depth should be 50-100mm, and width must exceed the pipe's outer diameter. Once the interface is set, backfill the grooves with medium coarse sand immediately.

4. When cutting the pipe to a specific length, employ mechanical methods. The cutting face must be smooth, flat, and perpendicular to the pipe axis. Avoid using open flames.

 

5. For diameter changes or branch pipe connections, utilize matching pipe fittings. Do not create holes on pipes and fittings for connections.

6. Lay the pipes adhering to the designed slope. Ensure the elevation error stays within the specified limits of the current national standard 'Code for the Construction and Application of Water Supply and Drainage Pipe Engineering' (GB 50268).

7. Employ fusion or flange connection methods when ambient temperatures are low or near the minimum threshold. Clean the socket, sleeve, seal, and other connecting parts thoroughly, ensuring they are free from soil, water, and impurities. For metal components like looping flanges and bolts used in flange connections, apply anti-corrosion measures tailored to the site's soil quality and adhere to corresponding standards.
