Installation Instructions

1. For the installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, exclusively employ electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods—never use screw connections or bonding. Ensure each type of polyethylene water supply pipeline connection is executed with specialized tools, and strictly avoid using open flames for heating during the connection process.

2. Connect polyethylene pipes using PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Before starting the connection, conduct a thorough test to confirm that the quality meets all required standards.

3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, ensure the pipe ends are immaculate. Temporarily seal pipe openings at the end of each work session and promptly inspect the interface upon completing the connection.

4. Both before and after hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. Rigorously adhere to the heating time and temperature guidelines specified by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings.

5. Follow the specified pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as stipulated by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these periods, it is crucial to avoid moving or applying pressure to the connecting parts.

6. After completing the hot-melt weld, conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints before the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, purge all air, and check for water tightness.

7. The pipeline engineering construction can only be deemed operational after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection, ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability.
