Installation Instructions

 

The connection methods for our HDPE double-wall bellows and b and c tubes encompass both mechanical and thermal fusion techniques. Key connection modes include butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection, ensuring a robust and reliable system.

1. Begin the pipeline installation with an earth arc foundation. For standard soil quality, lay a 100mm thick layer of medium coarse sand on either the undisturbed soil foundation or a foundation with backfill compaction beneath the pipe's bottom. For poor soil quality, opt for a sand gravel base layer at least 200mm thick, which can be laid in two layers: the lower layer of 100-150mm thick gravel with a particle size of 5-32mm, and the upper layer of coarse sand no less than 50mm thick. Ensure that the base density adheres to the specifications outlined in Table 2. For soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity is below design requirements or disturbed due to construction or precipitation, the foundation must be fortified. Once the specified bearing capacity is met, proceed with laying the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. Within the axillary corner ranging from the designed supporting angle of the earth arc foundation, backfill with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling area should extend by at least the supporting angle 2α plus 30 degrees, adhering to the compactness standards specified in the technical regulations.
 

 

3. Excavate grooves for socket interfaces and sleeve connections concurrently with the pipeline laying process. Determine the groove's length, width, and depth based on the pipe joint size. Once the joint is completed, immediately backfill the density with medium coarse sand to ensure stability.

4. For sections where longitudinal uneven settlement may occur due to pipeline load or soil changes, reinforce the foundation before laying the pipeline to maintain durability and stability.
Implement sand pile, stone pile, and other composite foundation treatment methods for polyethylene drainage pipe foundations. Avoid rigid foundation treatments such as driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations, which are not suitable for these installations.
