Installation Instructions
 

The connection modes of HDPE double-wall bellows and b and c tubes are versatile and include mechanical connections and a series of advanced thermal fusion processes. The primary methods are butt fusion, electrofusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection.

1. The pipeline foundation should be based on an earth arc. For general soil conditions, a 100mm thick layer of medium coarse sand should be laid on undisturbed soil or a compacted backfill foundation below the pipe. For poor soil quality, use a sand-gravel base layer of at least 200mm thickness, laid in two layers: the lower layer of gravel (5~32mm particle size) should be 100~150mm thick, and the upper layer of coarse sand should be no less than 50mm thick. The base density must meet the standards specified in Table 2. For soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity is less than required or disturbed due to construction activities, the foundation must be strengthened to meet specified bearing capacities before laying the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. The axillary corner within the supporting angle range of the designed earth arc foundation must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling range should extend beyond the supporting angle 2α by at least 30 degrees, and the compactness should meet the technical regulation standards.

3. Grooves for the socket interface and sleeve connection in the pipeline foundation should be dug during the pipeline laying process. The dimensions of the groove can be determined based on the pipe joint size. After completing the joint, the groove should be immediately backfilled with medium coarse sand to ensure proper density.

4. In sections where longitudinal uneven settlement may occur due to pipeline load or ground soil changes, the foundation must be reinforced before laying the pipeline.
For the treatment of polyethylene drainage pipe foundations, composite methods such as sand pile or stone pile treatments should be used. Rigid methods like driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations are not recommended.
