Installation Instructions

1. For the seamless installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is paramount to exclusively employ the advanced methods of electric fusion welding and hot melt docking. The use of screw connections and bonding is strictly forbidden to ensure the integrity of the installation. Each type of polyethylene water supply pipeline connection must be executed with precise, specially designed tools. Furthermore, avoid the use of open flames for heating during the connection process to maintain safety and quality.

2. To achieve optimal connection results, ensure that all polyethylene pipes are connected with PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Before starting the connection, conduct a meticulous test to guarantee that the quality is in full compliance with the stringent standards required.

3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is crucial to keep the pipe ends immaculate. At the conclusion of each work session, temporarily seal the pipe openings to protect them. Immediately upon completing the connection, inspect the interface to ensure a flawless finish.

4. Both prior to and following the hot melt butt welding process, meticulously clean the heating plate with a spotless cotton cloth. It is essential to adhere strictly to the precise heating time and temperature guidelines as specified by the manufacturers of both the hot melt butt welding machines and the pipes and fittings, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.

5. Carefully follow the recommended pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding, as detailed by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical periods, it is essential not to move or apply any additional pressure to the connecting parts, ensuring a secure and durable bond.

6. After all connections are made, it is vital to perform a water pressure test on the pipes. Execute this test within one hour of completing the hot-melt weld. Prior to the hydrostatic test, secure the pipeline and expose the joints. Fill the pipeline with water, expel any air, and then meticulously check for water tightness, ensuring no leaks or weaknesses.

7. The pipeline engineering construction is only considered fully operational after it has successfully passed the final acceptance inspection, confirming that all standards and requirements have been met with excellence.
