Installation Instructions

1. To ensure the highest standards of installation for buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, employ exclusively electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. Avoid screw connections and bonding, which are strictly prohibited. Utilize specialized tools for each type of polyethylene water supply pipeline connection, and abstain from using open flames for heating during the connection process.

2. For optimal results, connect polyethylene pipes using PE pipes and fittings that are of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Conduct a meticulous test prior to the connection to ensure the quality meets the stringent standards required.

3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, ensure the pipe ends are in pristine condition. Seal the pipe openings temporarily at the end of each work session, and immediately inspect the interface upon completing the connection to guarantee seamless integration.

4. Prior to and following the hot melt butt welding process, meticulously clean the heating plate using a pristine cotton cloth. Rigorously adhere to the heating time and temperature guidelines stipulated by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings.

5. Adhere to the specified pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as outlined by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical periods, ensure that no movement or additional pressure is applied to the connecting parts.

6. After completing the connection, conduct a thorough water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour of finishing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints prior to the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, eliminate any air pockets, and then verify the water tightness to ensure a robust connection.

7. The pipeline engineering project is considered operational only after it successfully passes the final acceptance inspection, ensuring all standards and protocols have been rigorously met.
