In the installation process of MPP power cable protection tube, the connection method is crucial. The correct selection ensures the reliable operation of the power piping system. This section introduces several common MPP power cable protection tube connection methods, detailing their characteristics and application scenarios to enhance your understanding.

01. Before installation, verify that the power supply, hydraulic oil, and heating plate of the welding machine meet the welding requirements. Conduct an empty run test on the milling cutter oil pump switch, etc. Install the slips that match the pipe specifications into the rack. Set the heating plate to the welding temperature, and clean its surface with clean soft paper or alcohol before heating to remove any oil stains.

02. Remove dirt from both pipe ends. Place the pipe into the frame clamp ensuring equal extension length at both ends. The parts outside the pipe rack should be supported. Align the pipe height with the centerline of the frame, then secure the slip. Insert a milling cutter and mill the pipe.

03. After continuous cutting occurs at both ends of the pipe, remove the pressure and let the milling cutter idle for two or three turns before retracting the movable frame and switching off the milling cutter.
 
04. Remove the milling cutter and bring the pipes at both ends together. Inspect the end face; the displacement should not exceed 10% of the pipe wall thickness. When closing, ensure no obvious gap between the pipe ends and that the gap width complies with: 0.3MM (DN.<25MM); If 0.5MM (225MM400MM) does not meet the requirements, it should be milled again.

05. When the heating plate reaches the set temperature, quickly place it into the rack and apply the specified pressure until the pipe ends are flipped and the minimum curling reaches the designated height. Reduce the pressure to the specified value, ensure the pipe end face contacts the heating plate, and continue heating for the required time.

06.When the heat absorption time reaches its specified value, retract the movable frame and swiftly remove the heating plate. Close the two pipe ends quickly, ensuring the switch time does not exceed the specified limit. The closing pressure should be moderate to prevent squeezing out molten material and compromising welding quality.

07.Raise the pressure to the specified value and maintain it for cooling. After natural cooling to room temperature, release the pressure, loosen the slip, remove the pipe, completing the welding process.
