The connection methods for HDPE double-wall bellows and B and C tubes offer versatility and durability, encompassing mechanical connections along with a series of thermal fusion procedures. The primary connection techniques include butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection, ensuring robust and reliable joints for diverse applications.

1. The pipeline installation should be based on an earth arc foundation. For typical soil conditions, a 100mm layer of medium coarse sand should be laid on the undisturbed soil foundation or on a compacted backfill foundation beneath the pipe. If the soil quality is substandard, a sand gravel base layer of at least 200mm thickness may be utilized, laid in two layers: the lower layer comprising gravel with a particle size of 5~32mm and a thickness of 100~150mm, while the upper layer consists of coarse sand no less than 50mm in thickness. The base density must conform to Table 2 specifications. For soft soil foundations where the bearing capacity is below design requirements or is compromised due to construction precipitation, it is imperative to reinforce the foundation first. Once the specified bearing capacity is achieved, a layer of medium coarse sand can be laid.

2. The axillary corners within the supporting angle range of the designed earth arc foundation must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling area should extend beyond the supporting angle 2α by at least 30 degrees, ensuring the backfilling compactness meets the technical regulation standards.

3. Grooves for socket interfaces and sleeve connections should be dug concurrently with the pipeline laying process. The dimensions of these grooves-length, width, and depth-should be adjusted according to the pipe joint size. Post joint completion, the grooves must be backfilled immediately with medium coarse sand to ensure density and stability.

4. For sections where longitudinal uneven settlement might occur due to pipeline load or ground soil variation, the foundation must be reinforced prior to pipeline installation to prevent potential deformations or failures.
For the foundation treatment of polyethylene drainage pipes, composite methods such as sand piles and stone piles should be employed. Rigid foundation treatments, including driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations, are not recommended due to their lack of flexibility and potential to compromise the integrity of the pipeline.
