Installation Instructions

 

1. Each pipe must undergo meticulous inspection in accordance with product standards before installation. Any pipe failing to meet these standards must not be used under any circumstances.

2. Handle the pipes with utmost care during transport. Pipes should be lifted and placed gently. Dragging, rolling, or using forklifts, tractors, or similar heavy machinery to move the pipes within the trench is strictly forbidden.

3. Ensure no water is present in the trench during pipe laying. The trench should be dug simultaneously with the pipe laying process. The groove length should correspond to the interface length, with a depth of 50-100mm and width no less than the pipe's outer diameter. Immediately backfill the grooves with medium coarse sand once the interface is completed.

4. When cutting pipes to the desired length, employ mechanical cutting methods only. The cut must be clean, flat, and perpendicular to the pipe axis. Avoid using open flames for cutting.

 

5. For changes in pipe diameter or connecting branch pipes, always use matching pipe fittings. Do not create openings in pipes or fittings for connections.

6. Lay the pipes according to the specified design slope. The elevation error must not exceed the limits set by the national standard "Code for the Construction and Application of Water Supply and Drainage Pipe Engineering" GB 50268 for prestressed concrete pipes.

7. Utilize fusion or flange connections when ambient temperatures are low or nearing minimum levels. Ensure all connecting parts, including the socket, sleeve, and seal, are clean and free of soil, water, and impurities. Implement anti-corrosion measures for metal components like looping flanges and bolts in accordance with site soil conditions and relevant standards.
